a series of films  -  a community of the new  -  a way to live now

In this series of films we begin looking at why we ignore our natural visionary potential, and how that makes us unhappy.

Episode 1- Dr Iain McGilchrist

Reductionist thinking rules mainstream culture and the media.  Politicians and corporate leaders discount common sense and human values in favor of dumb ideas that don’t serve us well. 

 Episode 2 - Meg Wheatley

We declared War on Terrorism and terrorism flourishes.  Taxpayers gave billions to the banks who paid themselves bonuses rather than investing in people and jobs.  Crippling student loans bought a CEO his private golf course.  Employees at box stores have to subsidize their families’ groceries with food stamps.  Cigarette manufacturers sue third world countries for putting health warnings on their packaging.  The list of insanities is endless.

Episode 3 - Professor Ellen Langer

Like the sorcerer’s apprentice, we’ve understood enough to get into trouble, but not enough to get us out - till now.

Episode 4 - Tim Freke

Our aim is to inspire and encourage others and help create a community of support.  

Episode 5 - Tim Merry, Phil Cass, Ria Baeck and Toke Moeller 

We want to produce more episodes featuring thinkers and activists who are finding ways to emerge from this dysfunctional paradigm.  Individuals whose lives have less to do with money and career and more to do with self awareness, a sense of creativity, aesthetics and community. 

Our aim is to inspire and encourage others and help create a community of support.  

Feature Length Documentary

When Being Smart Is Not Enough will at some future date and depending on funding be carefully edited into a feature length documentary film. For public showings on the East and West Coasts of the US and in London, making it available to the widest possible audience.
